Custom Acrylic Sign Holders and Menu Holders

We build acrylic sign holders for every standard paper size: A6 (105×148mm), A5 (148×210mm), A4 (210×297mm), A3 (297×420mm), US Letter (8.5×11in / 216×279mm), US Legal (8.5×14in / 216×356mm), and half-letter (5.5×8.5in), plus DL (99×210mm), the tall narrow card most bars use for drinks lists. The holder's internal slot is cut 1–2mm wider than the insert for easy loading. For a named FOB Shenzhen reference, an A5 portrait slant-back holder in 3mm clear acrylic with a polished top edge, no printing, and bulk packing is about $6.80 each at 100 pieces, $3.70 at 500, and $2.90 at 1,000. Final price follows the approved insert fit, orientation, holder type, material, branding, packing, quantity, and destination. Runs above 1,000 pieces are quoted from your drawing and packing plan.

Because the spec behind the quote usually isn't the same. The levers that move a sign holder's price are acrylic thickness (2mm vs 3mm on an A4 holder), material grade (virgin cast sheet vs lower-cost extruded or recycled stock), edge polishing method (flame vs diamond), and packaging (bulk-packed vs individually protected). Two quotes that look far apart are often two different products. Ask each supplier to state all four in writing — our quotes itemize them so you can compare line by line.

Both are normal for this product. Every holder is top-load with the internal slot cut 1–2mm wider than the insert, so staff change the print without tools and without the insert catching on the way in. On mixed orders, MOQ is 100 pieces per design — so an A5 counter holder, an A4 reception holder, and an A3 window holder run as three designs of 100 in the same shipment, on the same production window, packed and labeled per size so the stores don't have to sort them. Send the size split and we'll quote each line separately so you can see where shifting quantity between sizes changes the total. Usually not at production quantities. We don't stock or wholesale: every holder is made to order from 100 pieces per design. A non-standard size costs the same to cut as a standard one because the laser nests any rectangle from the same sheet, and UV printing carries no plate or screen charge. On a simple slant-back holder, the per-unit price at 300–500 pieces typically matches or undercuts unbranded standard-size holders, and above 500 pieces it usually runs 15–30% lower, with your size, thickness, color, and logo included. The trade-off is time: samples take 3–5 days and production 15–20 days after approval, plus freight, so build branded holders into the program calendar.

Standard acrylic (PMMA) handles outdoor use in covered or semi-covered areas — hotel entrances, restaurant patios, covered walkways. It won't yellow from moderate UV exposure and is more shatter-resistant than glass. For full-sun exposure over extended periods, we recommend UV-stabilized acrylic, which resists yellowing and brittleness for 5+ years outdoors. We also add a weighted base or wall-mount option for outdoor holders to prevent wind displacement.
