Three branded acrylic NFC and QR review stands on a café counter with a customer tapping a phone on one

A Google review stand is a counter or table sign that sends customers to your review page: they tap a phone on the embedded NFC tag or scan the printed QR code. Wetop builds them in acrylic to your brand, with an NTAG213 tag laminated in or set behind the face, from 100 pieces per design.

Review stand formats

Four builds review-tool brands ask for. Each is made to your size, colors and logo.

Matte black and white acrylic L-shaped review stands printed with a QR code, tap icon and five stars

Printed L-stand

One printed panel bent into an L with a deep base, the tag set in a back pocket under the tap mark.

Exploded three-layer acrylic review plaque showing the NFC tag in the middle layer, beside the assembled plaque

Layered plaque

Two or three bonded layers with the tag sealed between them. An opaque or frosted build hides the tag completely.

Clear acrylic block with reverse-printed QR code and a second block showing the NFC tag pocket on the back

Logo block

A solid polished block with a reverse-printed QR code and logo, and the tag set into the back face.

Clear acrylic magnetic sign frame holding a review card with QR code and tap icon, with a spare card

Magnetic frame

A double-sided frame with a swappable printed card; the tag is fixed in the frame so the card can change.

How the NFC tag works in an acrylic stand

The tag sits inside or behind the acrylic under a printed tap mark, and the phone reads it through the front. As typical guidance, a tag behind about 3–6 mm of acrylic reads reliably at close range; your build is read-tested on the paid sample.

PointTypical guidance
TagNTAG213, 144 bytes of user memory, read by NFC-enabled iPhone and Android phones
Acrylic over the tagAbout 3–6 mm reads reliably when the phone is held within a few centimeters
PlacementCentered under the printed tap mark, shown on the drawing
Keep away from the tagMetal bases, foil, mirrored acrylic and metallic or metal-effect inks
Your linkTags ship blank by default; your team writes and manages the review link

Phones place their NFC antenna in different spots, so the tap mark tells customers where to hold the phone.

1,000+ QR table stands for a restaurant platform

A restaurant-technology platform rolled out two coordinated table-stand SKUs with silk-screened platform branding and a recessed pocket for replaceable QR labels, so each venue's code could change without replacing the stand. That order was QR only; NFC stands follow the same sample-first rollout.

  • 1,000+ stands
  • 2 SKUs
  • Replaceable QR inserts
  • Permanent branding

Frequently Asked Questions

Does NFC work through acrylic?

Yes. Acrylic is not metal, so the 13.56 MHz NFC signal passes through it. As typical guidance, a tag on the back face behind about 3–6 mm of acrylic reads reliably on current iPhone and Android phones held within a few centimeters of the tap mark. Metal near the tag weakens or blocks the read: metal bases, foil, mirrored acrylic and metallic or metal-effect inks directly over or under the tag. The read for your exact build is checked on the paid sample.

Where is the NFC chip placed in the stand?

The tag is laminated between acrylic layers or set into a shallow pocket on the back face, centered under the tap mark printed on the front and kept away from any metal parts. The placement is shown on the drawing and checked on the sample.

Which NFC chip do the stands use?

Standard builds use NTAG213 tags, which hold 144 bytes of user memory, enough for a review link, and are read by NFC-enabled iPhone and Android phones. If your platform needs a different chip, name it in your inquiry and it is quoted and read-tested on the paid sample.

Who programs the review link onto the tag?

Your team owns the review link; we do not run a link dashboard or redirect service. Tags ship blank by default, so you can write and later change the link with any NFC writing app. If you need the tags written before shipping, ask in your inquiry and the quote states whether it is included.

Does adding NFC change the minimum order or sample time?

No. NFC review stands follow our standard terms: 100 pieces per design, a paid sample of USD 200–500 built in 3–5 days that is paid separately and never credited to production, and 15–20 days of production after you approve the sample.

How much does a custom NFC review stand cost?

Review stands are quoted from the format, size and thickness, layer count, tag, print and finish, packaging and quantity. The nearest published references are acrylic logo blocks without a tag: 100 × 60 × 20 mm clear with full-color surface UV print at $12 each for 100 pieces, $9 at 250 and $7 at 500, FOB Shenzhen. Send your spec and we reply with an exact NFC stand quote within 24 hours.
