Privacy Policy
Wetop Acrylic (“Wetop,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) — the trading name of Wetop Craft International Co., Ltd. — is a B2B custom acrylic manufacturer based in Guangdong, China, serving clients in 25+ countries. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors and business customers on wetopacrylic.com (the “Site”), how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting an inquiry, you agree to this policy.
Our Site is directed at business users — purchasing managers, product developers, brand owners, and procurement professionals. It is not intended for consumers or children.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to respond to business inquiries and deliver custom manufacturing projects. Specifically:
Information you provide directly — when you submit a quote request, upload a drawing or reference image, email us, or place a sample or production order, we collect your name, company name, business email, phone number (optional), country, product requirements, artwork or technical drawings, shipping address, and any other details you choose to share.
Information collected automatically — when you visit the Site, our hosting and analytics providers may log your IP address, approximate location (country/city level), browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is used to keep the Site secure and understand how buyers find us.
Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 3 below.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Respond to quote requests and recommend suitable materials, processes, and pricing;
• Prepare samples, production orders, invoices, and shipping documents;
• Coordinate production updates, photos, inspection reports, and delivery logistics;
• Provide post-sale support, including replacements for confirmed defects;
• Keep records for accounting, tax, customs, and warranty obligations;
• Improve the Site, diagnose technical issues, and prevent abuse;
• Send occasional updates about new capabilities or relevant product categories — only to existing business contacts, and only where permitted by applicable law. You can opt out at any time by replying to the email or writing to us.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share your designs, drawings, or project details with any other client or third party beyond what is required to produce and ship your order.
Legal bases (GDPR). Where the GDPR applies, we process your information on the following legal bases: (a) to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform a contract with you — inquiries, quotes, samples, and orders (Art. 6(1)(b)); (b) our legitimate interests in running a secure, effective B2B site, preventing abuse, and communicating with existing business contacts (Art. 6(1)(f)); and (c) your consent, where required by law, for optional marketing communications or non-essential analytics (Art. 6(1)(a)).
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
• Essential cookies — required for the Site and inquiry forms to function (for example, security and anti-spam protection).
• Analytics & advertising cookies — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, referring source, approximate country-level location) and Google Ads conversion measurement to track which campaigns generate inquiries. As a B2B website serving business buyers, these load by default to enable accurate campaign measurement. You can opt out at any time by using your browser’s private/incognito mode, blocking cookies in browser settings, or installing a tracker-blocking extension (such as uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger).
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, use private/incognito mode, or install a browser extension that blocks analytics scripts. Disabling essential cookies may affect inquiry form functionality.
4. Third-Party Services
To run the Site and deliver orders, we rely on a limited number of trusted service providers. They only receive the minimum data necessary to perform their function, and each has its own privacy policy:
• Hosting & form handling — Netlify (Site hosting and inquiry form processing);
• Transactional email — Resend (delivery of inquiry notifications to us);
• Analytics & advertising — Google Analytics 4 (web measurement) and Google Ads (conversion measurement and remarketing); both load by default for B2B campaign measurement and operate under Google’s Consent Mode v2 framework;
• Business email — our mailbox provider, used to send and receive inquiries and order correspondence;
• Shipping & logistics — freight forwarders and express couriers (e.g., DHL, FedEx, UPS, and ocean/air freight partners), who need your shipping address and contact for delivery;
• Banking & payments — banks and payment providers processing T/T, L/C, or other business payments.
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement to operate our B2B campaigns; you can opt out at any time using the browser-level methods described in Section 3. We do not place advertising pixels from social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) on the Site.
5. Data Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. Inquiry data is stored in access-controlled systems, and internal access is limited to staff who need it to prepare quotes, run production, or handle shipping. Our manufacturing facility is ISO 9001 certified, and we apply the same discipline to how we handle customer files and project records — including drawings, artwork, and any confidential design information you share with us.
No internet-based transmission or storage system is 100% secure. If we ever become aware of a confirmed security incident affecting your data, we will notify affected customers as required by applicable law.
6. Your Rights (EU / UK / California and Others)
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:
• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Delete your data, subject to our legal and contractual record-keeping obligations (e.g., completed orders, invoices, customs documents);
• Restrict or object to certain uses of your data;
• Data portability — receive your data in a portable format;
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time;
• Withdraw consent where we rely on consent;
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may request access, deletion, correction, and to know the categories of data we collect — see the list in Section 1.
Mainland China residents (PIPL). If you are located in mainland China, the Personal Information Protection Law grants you rights to access, copy, correct, delete, and port your personal information, and to withdraw consent. Cross-border transfer of your data to service providers outside China is made only as necessary to respond to your inquiry or perform a contract with you.
To exercise any of these rights, email inquiry@wetopacrylic.com from the email address associated with your inquiry or account. We will respond within a reasonable time and, where required, within the timeframe set by law.
7. International Data Transfers
Wetop Acrylic is headquartered in China. If you contact us from outside China — including the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or elsewhere — your information will be transferred to and processed in China and, where relevant, in the countries where our logistics, hosting, and analytics providers operate.
We only transfer personal data where the transfer is necessary to respond to your inquiry, perform a contract with you, or with your consent. For transfers from the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland to China or other non-adequate countries, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) — or the UK Addendum / Swiss equivalent — where required, and on the performance-of-contract and explicit-consent derogations under GDPR Art. 49 for inquiry and order processing. For transfers out of mainland China, we follow the cross-border transfer rules under PIPL.
8. Data Retention
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected:
• Inquiries that do not lead to an order — typically retained up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymized, in case you return or refer a new project.
• Active customers — retained for the duration of our business relationship and for a reasonable period afterward for warranty, reorders, and support.
• Order, invoice, customs, and tax records — retained for the period required by applicable accounting, tax, and customs laws.
• Customer drawings and artwork — retained for reorder support unless you ask us to delete them.
You may ask us to delete your records earlier, subject to our legal obligations.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Site is a B2B service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age (or the minimum age defined by your local law — 16 in some EU member states). If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, tools, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
11. Contact Us
For privacy questions, data requests, or any concern about how your information is handled, please contact us at inquiry@wetopacrylic.com. We aim to respond to all privacy inquiries within 5 business days.
