Every card game has its own box size. We set case clearance from the measured product, approved drawing, lid design, and fit sample rather than applying one universal allowance.

ETB, UPC & Collector Box Cases
ETB cases, UPC cases, and collector box cases protect the largest and most valuable sealed TCG products. These formats require thicker acrylic (5–6mm standard) due to larger surface area, and precision-fit interiors to prevent movement. UV-filtering acrylic is recommended — sealed ETBs and UPCs often appreciate faster than individual packs.
Elite Trainer Boxes (207×114×192mm) are the most common large TCG format — taller than they are wide, requiring a different case geometry than booster boxes. Ultra Premium Collections are even larger (392×104×228mm for the 151 set) and need 5–6mm acrylic for structural rigidity.

How Should Your Case Open?
Magnetic Lid
Round N52 neodymium magnets are embedded in paired positions on the lid and the open box rim. The lid lifts off cleanly and drops back into alignment without front-face hardware.

Displaying PSA, BGS, SGC or CGC Graded Slabs?
Graded card slabs are a different build problem from sealed product — the case has to be cut to one slab profile, because PSA slabs are roughly 6.5mm thick while BGS, SGC, and CGC slabs run about 8mm. We make single-slab desktop stands, 2- to 9-slot multi-slab displays, wall-mount slab racks, and lockable counter cases — all with UV-filtering acrylic available. Why UV-Filtering Acrylic Matters for Trading Cards
UV transmission varies by the named PMMA grade and thickness. If light exposure matters, define the wavelength range, required transmission or blocking data, measurement method, and supplier documentation before approving the sheet and sample.
Light exposure can change paper and printed color over time. The actual risk depends on spectrum, intensity, duration, card materials, and the enclosure.
Ask for the named sheet grade and its current supplier datasheet. Approve the required wavelength range and measurement evidence instead of relying on a generic “UV-filtering” label.
When to Choose UV-Filtering Acrylic
- Specify exposure — wavelength range, intensity, hours, and display location
- Name the sheet — supplier, grade, thickness, and current datasheet
- Define evidence — transmission or blocking method and acceptance criteria
- Approve the sample — clarity, color cast, fit, and finished construction
- Review periodically — actual display conditions can change

How Our Card Cases Are Built
Trading card cases are built to the approved product envelope, sheet grade, thickness, lid, clearance, finish, and packing specification. Production MOQ is 100 pieces per design; construction varies by format.
6mm Acrylic Throughout
Walls, lid, and base are all 6mm acrylic — delivering solid weight, premium feel, and structural rigidity. Thinner (3mm) and thicker (8mm) options available by request.
Precision-Fit Interior
Clearance is set for the measured product, lid mechanism, handling requirement, and approved fit sample. Record the accepted allowance on the production drawing instead of assuming one value for every format.
UV-Filtering Acrylic Walls
UV filtration is in the acrylic material itself — not a coating that can scratch off. Protection is uniform across all visible faces. Available as an upgrade on any case format.

Acrylic Thickness
Choose thickness from the panel span, structure, access method, approved sample, and packing test.
UV-Filtering Acrylic
Name the grade, thickness, wavelength range, datasheet, and required test evidence in the RFQ.
Lid Mechanism
Sliding lids are more affordable. Magnetic closure adds cost for embedded magnets and precision alignment.

Do you make display cases for PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC graded slabs?

Are your trading card display cases stackable?
Stackable designs are available for booster boxes, ETBs, and slab holders. The approved geometry, material, load, stack height, surface, and packing test determine whether an interlock or another locating feature is suitable; do not use a universal stack rating.
What acrylic thickness is best for trading card display cases?
For standard booster box cases, 3mm acrylic provides clear visibility and solid protection at the best value. For ETBs, UPCs, and retail display, 5mm or 6mm delivers heavier weight and a more premium feel. We don't recommend anything under 2mm for card cases — too fragile for repeated handling.
Do you offer custom retail packaging for card display cases?
Yes. Many of our card case buyers resell to individual collectors, so we offer custom printed retail boxes designed to fit each case format. Options include full-color printed cardboard boxes, branded inserts, and shrink-wrap packaging. Retail packaging is produced alongside the acrylic cases — same factory, same order, same shipment. MOQ for custom packaging is 200 pieces.
What makes some trading card cases more expensive than others?
Price depends on the approved dimensions, PMMA grade and thickness, lid mechanism, quantity, branding, packing, and freight term. A published planning point for a standard graded-card case is $5.90 per unit at 100+ pieces; the final quote follows the named slab and case specification.
Are you a factory, or a trading company reselling cases from another plant?
A factory. Wetop has manufactured in Shenzhen since 2008 — today a 5,000 m² ISO 9001 certified plant, with 65+ people on the floor — cutting, bonding, polishing, printing, and the 100% inspection against your approved sample all happen under one roof. It matters for card cases specifically, because booster box and ETB clearances live or die on a millimeter: when the fit is off, you talk to the person who cut it, not to a broker relaying a message. Samples come back in 3–5 days for the same reason.
Can one case hold both sealed product and a graded slab?
Not in the same slot, and it's worth being clear why. Sealed product is sized by the box — an MTG booster box is 225 × 79 × 139mm, a Yu-Gi-Oh box 164 × 48 × 138mm — while a graded slab is a thin rigid holder, roughly 6.5mm for PSA and about 8mm for BGS, SGC, and CGC. A cavity built around a booster box leaves a slab swimming; a slot cut for a slab won't take a box at all. What we do build is a multi-compartment piece: a box cavity next to profile-cut slab slots in one case, or separate designs on one purchase order and one shipment.
