TCG booster box display cases protect sealed booster boxes from dust, UV damage, and handling while keeping them fully visible. Wetop manufactures custom acrylic booster box cases for every major trading card game — Pokemon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragon Ball Super, and Star Wars Unlimited — with magnetic or sliding lids, UV-filtering acrylic, and stackable bases.
Booster box cases are our highest-volume TCG product. Every major card game has its own box size — a Magic: The Gathering draft box (225mm wide) is 37% larger than a Dragon Ball Super box (162mm). We build precision-fit cases for each format with 1mm clearance for easy insertion, your choice of lid, and optional UV-filtering acrylic.
Most popular TCG brands we case: Pokemon (English booster boxes vary by set — we measure your specific product), One Piece (fastest-growing TCG, two box sizes across set eras), Magic: The Gathering (draft and collector booster boxes), Yu-Gi-Oh (24-pack and 36-pack variants), Dragon Ball Super, and Star Wars Unlimited.
Popular with: TCG retailers · Pokemon/One Piece/MTG distributors · Card shop owners · Resellers
MOQ: 50 pieces per format · Sample: 3–5 days
Lid options: Magnetic, sliding, or removable — see lid comparison below.
ETB, UPC & Collector Box Cases
ETB cases, UPC cases, and collector box cases protect the largest and most valuable sealed TCG products. These formats require thicker acrylic (5–6mm standard) due to larger surface area, and precision-fit interiors to prevent movement. UV-filtering acrylic is recommended — sealed ETBs and UPCs often appreciate faster than individual packs.
Elite Trainer Boxes (207×114×192mm) are the most common large TCG format — taller than they are wide, requiring a different case geometry than booster boxes. Ultra Premium Collections are even larger (392×104×228mm for the 151 set) and need 5–6mm acrylic for structural rigidity.
We also build cases for TCG tins (134×86×164mm) and booster bundles — products that are often displayed vertically at retail.
Popular with: TCG collectors · Sealed product investors · Pokemon distributors · Card shop retailers
MOQ: 50 pieces per format · Sample: 3–5 days

How Should Your Case Open?
Magnetic Lid
Round N52 neodymium magnets are embedded in paired positions on the lid and the open box rim. The lid lifts off cleanly and drops back into alignment without front-face hardware.
Most popular for display and resale
Sliding Lid
Lid slides along a precision-grooved track milled into the case walls. Stays dust-tight when closed, easy one-hand access for frequent use.
Best for frequent access and retail counter use
Displaying PSA, BGS, SGC or CGC Graded Slabs?
Graded card slabs are a different build problem from sealed product — the case has to be cut to one slab profile, because PSA, SGC, and CGC slabs are roughly 3mm thick while BGS (Beckett) slabs run about 5.3mm. We make single-slab desktop stands, 2- to 9-slot multi-slab displays, wall-mount slab racks, and lockable counter cases — all with UV-filtering acrylic available. That whole product line — with full slab dimension tables, fit guidance, and format breakdown — has its own page:

Why UV-Filtering Acrylic Matters for Trading Cards
UV-filtering acrylic blocks 92%+ of harmful ultraviolet rays that cause trading card ink to fade, paper to yellow, and holo patterns to degrade. Standard clear acrylic transmits UV freely. For valuable cards, sealed products, and graded slabs across any TCG brand, UV-filtering acrylic is the single most important protective upgrade.
A PSA 10 Charizard doesn't stay a PSA 10 if the ink fades. UV radiation — from sunlight, fluorescent lights, and even LED lighting — breaks down card pigments over time. The damage is gradual and irreversible: yellowed borders, faded holo patterns, washed-out colors. This applies to every TCG brand — Pokemon, One Piece, MTG, sports cards.
UV-filtering acrylic blocks 92%+ of UV radiation while maintaining crystal-clear transparency (92% light transmission). The difference is invisible to the eye but visible on cards after 6–12 months of exposure.
When to Choose UV-Filtering Acrylic
- Always — Graded slabs (PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC) valued at $100+
- Always — Sealed booster boxes and ETBs held for long-term value
- Always — Cases displayed near windows or under bright store lighting
- Optional — Cases stored in drawers or closets with minimal light
- Optional — Short-term display at card shows (hours, not months)
UV-filtering acrylic adds approximately 15–25% to material cost. For cards and sealed products worth holding in cases, the protection cost is a fraction of the value at risk.

How Our Card Cases Are Built
Every trading card display case is built from 6mm acrylic with UV-filtering walls available on all formats and your choice of magnetic or sliding lid. The construction is identical whether you order 50 or 5,000 — same materials, same precision, same factory.
6mm Acrylic Throughout
Walls, lid, and base are all 6mm acrylic — delivering solid weight, premium feel, and structural rigidity. Thinner (3mm) and thicker (8mm) options available by request.
Precision-Fit Interior
Every case is built with 1mm clearance per side around the product. Tight enough to prevent rattling, loose enough for easy insertion. Clearance is verified against the actual product during sample approval.
UV-Filtering Acrylic Walls
UV filtration is in the acrylic material itself — not a coating that can scratch off. Protection is uniform across all visible faces. Available as an upgrade on any case format.
For full construction details (joint styles, edge profiles, polishing), see our Acrylic Display Cases hub page.

Send Us Your IdeaWhat Affects Card Case Pricing?
Trading card display case pricing depends on five factors: acrylic thickness, UV-filtering upgrade, lid mechanism, order quantity, and retail packaging. A 3mm clear booster box case with sliding lid costs significantly less than a 6mm UV-filtered case with magnetic closure, engraved branding, and custom printed retail box.
Acrylic Thickness
3mm is the budget option. 6mm is our standard for booster box and ETB cases — premium weight and rigidity. 5–8mm available for large-format UPCs.
UV-Filtering Acrylic
Adds 15–25% over standard clear. For cards worth $50+, the UV cost is a fraction of the value protected. Available on any format.
Lid Mechanism
Sliding lids are more affordable. Magnetic closure adds cost for embedded magnets and precision alignment.
Order Quantity
Unit cost drops significantly above 200 pieces. Most card case buyers order 200–5,000 units per run — the sweet spot for per-unit efficiency.
Retail Packaging
Custom printed retail boxes, branded inserts, and shrink-wrap for resale. Produced alongside the cases — same factory, same shipment. MOQ 200 pcs.
For general display case pricing factors, see our Acrylic Cases hub page.

What TCG booster box formats do your display cases fit?
We build cases for every major TCG booster box format: Magic: The Gathering (225×79×139mm), One Piece (166×78×130mm), Yu-Gi-Oh (164×48×138mm), Dragon Ball Super (162×76×137mm), Star Wars Unlimited (165×83×143mm), and standard Japanese booster box formats such as 156×50×155mm and One Piece Japanese set formats. Pokemon English booster box dimensions vary by set — send us your product and we confirm exact case sizing. Every case includes 1mm clearance per side.
Do you make display cases for PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC graded slabs?
Yes — and we have a dedicated page for it. Graded slab cases (single-slab stands, 2- to 9-slot multi-slab displays, wall-mount racks, and lockable counter cases) are built to the exact slab profile, because PSA, SGC, and CGC slabs are roughly 3mm thick while BGS slabs are about 5.3mm. Full details, slab dimension tables, and fit guidance are on our graded card display cases page. We quote graded-slab and sealed-product (booster box, ETB, UPC) formats together on one order.
Are your trading card display cases stackable?
Yes. Our card cases feature an interlocking design that allows each case to lock onto the one below without sliding. No adhesive, no hardware. Stackable designs are available for booster box cases, ETB cases, and PSA slab holders. Cases stack securely up to 6 units high.
What acrylic thickness is best for trading card display cases?
For standard booster box cases, 3mm acrylic provides clear visibility and solid protection at the best value. For ETBs, UPCs, and retail display, 5mm or 6mm delivers heavier weight and a more premium feel. We don't recommend anything under 2mm for card cases — too fragile for repeated handling.
Do you offer custom retail packaging for card display cases?
Yes. Many of our card case buyers resell to individual collectors, so we offer custom printed retail boxes designed to fit each case format. Options include full-color printed cardboard boxes, branded inserts, and shrink-wrap packaging. Retail packaging is produced alongside the acrylic cases — same factory, same order, same shipment. MOQ for custom packaging is 200 pieces.
What makes some trading card cases more expensive than others?
Four main factors drive card case pricing: acrylic thickness (3mm vs 6mm), UV-filtering acrylic (adds 15–25% over clear), lid mechanism (magnetic costs more than sliding), and order quantity (unit cost drops above 200 pieces). Custom retail packaging adds per-unit cost but enables resale at higher margins.
