How we supply photo blanks to a production line

Photo labs need blanks that run on their printers without rework. We fix the specification on a paid sample you test in your own workflow, then hold every reorder to it, with inspection, packing and split shipments set per order. The photo lab bulk frame ordering guide covers SKU and reorder planning.

Specification
Thickness, corner radius, edge finish, flatness and protective film confirmed on the approved sample.
Print method
Tell us whether you UV-print, face-mount or insert prints, so film, surface and tolerance suit it. Printing photos on acrylic blocks and frames compares the methods.
Inspection
Every piece checked against the sample; QC photos before shipment; 7-day landed inspection window.
Packing
Film on both faces, unit sleeves and divided cartons so polished faces never touch; carton marks per SKU.
Split shipments
An urgent air release and the bulk balance on one PO, each with its own packing list. See the partial air shipment project.
Reorders
Drawings, film and packing specs stay on file; a reorder lists quantities and changes only.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which acrylic photo blanks do photo labs and print platforms buy from you?

Mostly clear photo-block blanks, two-panel magnetic frames, tabletop frames and photo trays with an insert slot or a printable base. Labs print or mount their own photos on the blanks; brands with a fixed catalog design can also have it printed here. Every item is made to your size and finish, from 100 pieces per design.

Can we keep our current sizes and specifications if we switch suppliers?

Yes. Send the current product drawing or a physical piece, your print method and the receiving criteria you use today: thickness, edge and corner finish, flatness, film and packing. We build a paid sample to match, you test it on your own printer and line, and the approved sample becomes the reference for every reorder.

Can one purchase order mix blocks, frames and trays?

Yes. One order can carry several products and sizes; each size or product is its own design with a 100-piece minimum. Reorders reference the approved sample and the previous order, so you only list quantities and any changes.

How do you inspect blanks before they ship?

Every piece is checked against the approved sample for face scratches, bubbles, edge and corner finish and size, and blanks are film-protected and sleeved so polished faces do not touch. QC photos of the packed cartons are sent before shipment, and transit damage or spec failures reported with photos within 7 days of arrival are remade case by case.

Can urgent quantities fly ahead of the main shipment?

Yes. One order can be split into an urgent air release and a bulk balance under the same purchase order, with separate carton marks, packing lists and destination contacts for each leg. All pieces come from the same production and inspection, so the early units match the bulk.

Will you keep our company and customers confidential?

Yes. We never publish or name our photo-lab and platform customers; projects appear on our site only in anonymized form. Your files are used only to quote, sample and manufacture your orders. We can sign a reasonable NDA after reviewing and agreeing its terms; please send it before sharing confidential files.
