What acrylic thickness is best for display risers?
For standard retail risers up to 300mm wide, 5mm acrylic provides solid stability and a clean look. For wider risers (300–500mm) or risers holding heavy products like electronics, 8mm or 10mm adds structural rigidity. Cosmetics risers typically use 5mm. Trade show risers that need to ship flat and reassemble work best at 6–8mm. We don't recommend anything under 3mm for risers — too flexible under load.
What is the difference between stepped risers and nesting risers?
Stepped risers are a single bonded unit with 2–5 ascending tiers — each product sits at a different height. Nesting risers are a set of separate U-shaped or cube pieces in graduated sizes that stack or nest inside each other for storage and shipping. Stepped risers look cleaner and cost less per unit. Nesting risers are more versatile — you can rearrange them and they ship flat.
Can you make acrylic risers in custom colors?
Yes. We offer 50+ standard acrylic colors plus custom Pantone matching. Popular choices for retail risers: clear (maximum product visibility), frosted white (soft premium look), matte black (high contrast for jewelry and cosmetics), and mirrored (jewelry and watches). Two-tone risers — black base with clear tiers, for example — are also available.
How much do custom acrylic risers cost?
Four factors drive riser pricing: acrylic thickness (5mm vs 10mm), overall size and complexity (multi-tier stepped risers cost more than single pedestals, nesting sets are priced per set), material type (frosted and mirrored cost 10–20% more than clear), and order quantity (the sharpest per-unit drop sits between the 100-piece minimum and 500 pieces). Diamond polishing is included as standard on every riser. A simple 3-tier clear acrylic riser in 5mm is our most affordable configuration.
Do your acrylic risers ship flat-packed?
It depends on the configuration. Nesting risers and cube risers always ship nested or flat — they're designed for it. Stepped risers are bonded units and ship fully assembled with individual foam protection. For large orders, we can build stepped risers with interlocking tabs so they can ship disassembled and snap together on-site — this cuts shipping volume by up to 40%.

Can I mix riser sizes in one order, and how does bulk pricing work?
Yes. MOQ is 100 pieces per design, so a program with three riser heights runs as 3 × 100. Multi-size nesting and cube sets count differently — the set is the design, so 100 sets meets MOQ regardless of how many pieces are in each set. On pricing, the sharpest per-unit drop sits between the 100-piece minimum and 500, and cost keeps dropping above that.
