Custom Acrylic Boxes
Your box, your dimensions, your logo — made in our own factory, not sourced from someone else's.
A custom acrylic box is a clear, frosted, or colored PMMA box built to your exact size and branded with your logo by silk-screen printing, UV printing, laser engraving, or foil stamping. Wetop Acrylic is a real manufacturer — not a trading company or reseller — cutting, fabricating, and printing custom acrylic boxes in-house at our Shenzhen factory since 2008. That means we mock up your box, validate your artwork, sample it, and produce to the approved spec under one roof, with tier pricing from 50 to 10,000 pieces. MOQ 50 per design.

Ways to Build & Brand a Custom Acrylic Box
A custom acrylic box starts with two decisions: the box itself — its size, shape, thickness, and opening — and the branding on it. We build standard rectangles, cubes, hinged, sliding, and magnetic-lid boxes to your dimensions, then add your logo by silk-screen, UV print, laser engraving, or foil. Below are the common routes; every one is cut, fabricated, and printed in our own factory.

The right way to put your logo on an acrylic box depends on your color count, your quantity, and how premium the finish needs to look. Silk-screen printing gives bold, opaque, and metallic spot colors but needs one screen per color, so it favors simple logos in volume. UV printing prints full-color, photo-quality artwork with no screens, so it favors multi-color and low-volume variable artwork. Laser engraving and etching cut a permanent, ink-free frosted mark. Foil stamping and metallic screen inks deliver a true reflective gold or silver.
| Method | Look | Colors | Setup | Best For | Metallic? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Silk-Screen Print | Bold, opaque, solid blocks of color | Spot colors, one screen per color | Screen per color (setup cost) | 1–3 color logos, higher volume | Yes — metallic inks |
| UV Digital Print | Sharp, full-color, photo-quality | Unlimited, gradients, photos | No screens — file only | Multi-color, low volume, variable art | Approximate (flat gold tone) |
| Laser Engrave | Permanent frosted etch, catches light | No ink — frosted on clear | File only, no consumables | Premium keepsake logos, text | No (frosted tone) |
| Etched / Sandblast | Frosted matte over larger areas | No ink — frosted | Mask per design | Large frosted panels, patterns | No (frosted tone) |
| Foil / Hot Stamp | Reflective metallic foil | Gold, silver, metallic foils | Stamping die (setup cost) | True metallic logos | Yes — genuine shine |

Real-Factory OEM — Built to Your Spec
A custom acrylic box manufacturer cuts, fabricates, prints, and inspects your box under one roof rather than sourcing it from another workshop. Wetop Acrylic has done exactly that since 2008 — we take your dimensions, drawing, or 3D file, build a production sample, and manufacture to the approved spec. Box shape, size, thickness, opening mechanism, and interior are all made to order.
We build the standard rectangle, but also acrylic cubes, hinged boxes, sliding-lid boxes, magnetic-lid boxes, and fully custom footprints. Change the depth or a single dimension and the material use — and the price — moves with it, so we help you value-engineer the box to your target cost without changing the look a buyer sees.
Custom outer packaging — Many OEM buyers also need a printed cardboard or rigid outer box around the acrylic box so the product ships retail- or gift-ready. We quote that outer packaging alongside the box. (We do not make food-service or dessert packaging.)
Because we are the factory, your artwork, tooling, and sample stay with one team from prototype through repeat orders — the consistency distributors and brands need that a trading-company middleman can't guarantee.

Silk-Screen & UV Print
Ink is laid onto the acrylic surface and cured. Screen print for bold spot colors; UV print for full-color photo-quality artwork.
Laser Engrave & Etch
The mark is cut into the acrylic itself, leaving a permanent frosted etch that catches the light. No ink, no fade.
Foil / Hot Stamp
A heated die presses metallic foil onto the acrylic — the reliable route to a genuine reflective gold or silver logo.
Specialty Printing & Branding — Choosing the Method
Getting a logo onto an acrylic box well means matching the method to the artwork. Silk-screen printing is the volume workhorse for bold, opaque, few-color logos and is the traditional route for true metallic inks; each color needs its own screen, which is why setup cost rises with color count and screen printing suits larger runs rather than one-off, high-mix jobs. UV digital printing prints unlimited color and photographic detail directly onto rigid acrylic with strong adhesion and no screens, which makes it the better choice for multi-color logos, gradients, and low-volume variable artwork.
Metallic gold and silver — This is the most common branding question we get, and the honest answer matters. A genuine mirror-metallic logo comes from silk-screen with metallic inks or from a foil/hot-stamp, because a flat UV print can only approximate a gold tone — it won't carry the same reflective shine. If premium metallic is the goal, budget for a screen or a stamping die; if a printed gold that reads well at arm's length is enough, UV print is cheaper.
Laser engraving and etching add no ink at all — the mark is cut into the acrylic and reads as a frosted etch that catches the light. It's permanent, never fades, and is the most-requested finish for corporate-gift and keepsake boxes.
Artwork we can print from — Send production-ready vector artwork (AI, EPS, or PDF) so the logo prints crisp at any size. If your logos "are vector," you're set; if you only have a raster image, we'll tell you before production whether it will hold up. We validate every file and mock up the print layout for your sign-off before the run starts. For the full range of finishes and file requirements, see our customization options.

Why Order From a Real Factory, Not a Reseller?
Many suppliers listed for "custom acrylic box" are trading companies that resell another workshop's production — which adds a margin, a communication layer, and no control over quality when a sample and a bulk run don't match. Wetop Acrylic cuts, prints, and inspects every box in-house, so your artwork, tooling, and approved sample stay with one team from prototype through repeat orders. That's why brands and distributors who reorder choose a manufacturer over a middleman.
| Factor | Real Factory (Wetop) | Trading Company / Reseller |
|---|---|---|
| Who makes it | Cut, printed, inspected in-house | Outsourced to a third workshop |
| Sample-to-bulk consistency | Same team, same line, same standard | Risk of mismatch between shops |
| Artwork & tooling control | Held by the factory across reorders | May move between suppliers |
| Pricing | Factory-direct, tier pricing | Adds a reseller margin |
| Printing & engraving | In-house silk-screen, UV, laser, foil | Subcontracted, less control |
| Reorder reliability | Consistent across repeat runs | Varies with sourcing |

What Affects Custom Acrylic Box Pricing?
Custom acrylic box pricing depends on five factors: box size, acrylic thickness, branding method, order quantity, and any outer packaging. A small 3mm clear cube with a one-color screen print costs a fraction of a large 8mm box with full-color UV print, a velvet insert, and a printed outer carton. Setup costs — a print screen, a stamping die, or the cutting layout — are fixed per design, which is why per-unit price drops as quantity rises. All figures below are indicative FOB Shenzhen ranges only.
Box Size & Shape
Larger boxes and custom footprints use more acrylic and more cutting. A small cube costs far less than a large lidded display box. Size is a major cost driver after quantity.
Acrylic Thickness
A 5mm box uses nearly twice the material of a 3mm box the same size. Thin acrylic suits small light boxes; thicker acrylic holds its shape at larger sizes and reads more premium.
Branding Method
Silk-screen adds a screen per color; foil adds a stamping die; UV print adds no setup but a per-unit cost; laser engraving adds machine time. The method — and color count — moves the price.
Order Quantity
Fixed setup costs spread over more pieces, so per-unit price drops in tiers — 50 / 500 / 5,000 / 10,000. The steepest break is between the MOQ and a few hundred units.
Outer Packaging & Insert
A printed outer carton or rigid gift box, plus any interior divider, foam, or velvet insert, are quoted on top of the box. Simple packaging costs less than a full retail-ready presentation.
How setup and per-unit costs split: A silk-screen or foil die is a one-time setup cost that doesn't change with a design tweak — which is why a "small change" can leave the price the same, or why adding a color raises it. UV printing has no screen setup but a per-unit print cost. We quote setup and per-unit separately and show tier pricing so you see exactly where the breaks fall. All figures are indicative FOB Shenzhen — send your spec for an exact quote.

What is the minimum order for custom acrylic boxes?
Our standard MOQ is 50 pieces per design. That covers the tooling and print setup a custom box requires, and it's low for a real factory — most acrylic manufacturers start at 100 or 300. The 50-piece minimum applies per design, not across designs: 50 units of one box is one MOQ. If you want to trial a hinged or lidded box before committing to a full run, we recommend ordering a paid sample or a small first batch — send us your quantity and we'll tell you honestly what's feasible rather than quoting a run you don't need.
Can I mix several box sizes or designs to reach the 50-piece minimum?
The 50-piece MOQ applies per design and per size, because each variation needs its own cutting layout and, if printed, its own screen or print file. You can't blend five different boxes into one 50-piece order at the single-design price. What you can do: pick your top one or two designs to each meet the minimum, or order a mixed batch where each design's setup cost is itemized in the quote. For buyers who genuinely need low volume across many artworks — 'we don't need 500 units of every art' — UV printing is the better route, because it prints variable artwork without a per-design screen.
How does pricing change from 50 to 500 to 10,000 boxes?
Per-unit cost drops in tiers as quantity rises, because the fixed costs — cutting setup, print-screen or file preparation, and sampling — spread across more pieces. The steepest drop is usually between 50 and a few hundred units. By several thousand pieces, material and labor dominate and the curve flattens. We quote in tiers (for example 50 / 500 / 5,000 / 10,000) so you can see exactly where the price breaks fall and choose the quantity that fits your budget. All figures are indicative FOB Shenzhen ranges — send your target quantity for exact tier pricing.
How do I add my logo to an acrylic box — printing or engraving?
Four common methods, each with a different look and cost. Silk-screen printing lays down bold, opaque solid colors and spot colors (including metallics) but needs one screen per color, so it suits single- or few-color logos in volume. UV printing prints full-color, photo-quality artwork directly onto acrylic with no screens, so it's ideal for multi-color logos, gradients, and low-volume variable artwork. Laser engraving cuts a permanent frosted-etch mark into the acrylic — no ink, catches the light, reads as premium. Etched (sandblast) marking gives a similar frosted effect over larger areas. Send us your logo and we'll recommend the method that matches your color count, quantity, and finish.
Can you print a metallic gold or foil logo on an acrylic box?
Yes, with a caveat worth knowing upfront. True metallic gold and silver are produced most reliably by silk-screen printing with metallic inks or by a foil/hot-stamp application — a flat digital UV print can approximate a gold tone but does not carry the same reflective shine. So a genuine mirror-metallic logo usually means silk-screen or foil, which adds a per-color screen or a stamping die to the setup. If a printed gold that reads well at arm's length is enough, UV print is cheaper. Tell us how premium the metallic needs to look and we'll match the method to the effect.
Do you supply a printed outer packaging box for the acrylic box?
Yes. Beyond the acrylic box itself, we produce a printed outer carton or gift box — a branded cardboard or rigid box that the acrylic box ships inside — so the product arrives retail-ready or gift-ready. This is packaging around the acrylic box, quoted separately from the box, and it's a common add-on for retail and D2C buyers. Note we do not make food-service or dessert packaging. Send your artwork and box dimensions and we'll quote the outer packaging alongside the acrylic box.
