Freestanding acrylic trophies are CNC-cut from thick acrylic sheet (10–25mm) into three-dimensional silhouettes — stars, flames, waves, brand logos, or any custom outline. The trophy stands on its own base or a separate pedestal. Unlike flat acrylic plaques, freestanding trophies have sculptural depth and are designed to be viewed and admired from multiple angles.
A freestanding trophy starts as a flat acrylic sheet and becomes a 3D object through CNC cutting. The CNC router follows your design outline — a star, a swoosh, a mountain peak, your company logo — cutting through 10–25mm acrylic to produce a thick, solid form with real dimensional presence. After cutting, every edge is diamond-polished to optical clarity.
The key design constraint: minimum 5mm wall thickness at the thinnest point. A star trophy with sharp points needs those points to be at least 5mm wide, or they'll snap under handling. We review every custom shape for structural integrity before cutting the first sample.

Multi-Layer Stacked Trophies
Multi-layer acrylic trophies are built by stacking 2–5 acrylic panels in different colors, finishes, and thicknesses — then bonding them into a single dimensional piece. Each layer can be printed, engraved, or left plain. The result is a trophy with visual depth and color contrast that a single sheet of acrylic cannot achieve.
Multi-layer construction is what makes acrylic trophies look three-dimensional without the cost of solid-block machining. A 3-layer trophy — clear front, colored center, frosted back — creates depth perception as you look through the layers. Print a logo on the center layer and it appears to float inside the trophy.
The layers are precision-cut to identical outlines (or intentionally offset for a stepped profile), then bonded with optical-grade adhesive that cures invisible. Alignment is critical — a 0.5mm shift between layers is visible. We use pin-registration jigs to hold each panel in place during bonding.

Embedment Trophies — Objects Cast Inside Acrylic
An embedment trophy encases a physical insert or object — most commonly a printed acrylic insert, commemorative disc, circuit board, product miniature, or branded keepsake — inside a clear acrylic block.
