Shaker standees
A sealed window of glitter, beads or small shapes that moves when the standee tilts, built from a front panel, spacer frame and back panel.
Layered standees
Background, middle and foreground panels on one base for a 3D scene that shifts as you move around it.
Mini standees
50–80 mm pieces for blind-box sets, gacha lines and desk clusters. Each character in the set is its own design.
Acrylic standee sizes
100 mm is the most-ordered height for character merch. These are common starting points; height and base size are custom.

Acrylic standees or PVC figures?
PVC figures are sculpted in 3D but need an injection mold for each character, which figure makers price from about $3,000, with common minimums around 2,000 pieces and 45–90 day lead times. Acrylic standees are cut and printed from your file, so a new character is a new file rather than a new mold. Most standee orders carry no tooling or setup fee; if a complex part needs one, it is stated in the written quote.

What does a custom acrylic standee cost?
Standees are quoted per design. These choices set the unit price; send them and we reply with a per-unit quote within 24 hours.
Unit cost drops 30–40% between 100 and 5,000 pieces, and 80 mm to 200 mm roughly triples material cost. Double-sided print adds 15–20%. A shaker adds 40–60%, an LED base 50–80%, and each extra layer 30–50%. The rectangular slot-in base is included; a shaped base adds 10–20%, and weighted or magnetic bases add material and assembly.

What is an acrylic standee made of?
A standard acrylic standee has three parts. The panel is cast acrylic (PMMA, also sold as plexiglass or perspex; clear PMMA passes about 92% of visible light), 3mm thick up to 150mm tall and 5mm for 200mm and taller. The print is UV-cured CMYK ink over a white opaque layer, on one or both faces. The base is a separate 3–5mm acrylic piece with a CNC-routed slot that holds the panel upright by friction fit. Shaker standees add an acrylic spacer frame and a sealed fill; layered standees add extra printed panels.
What is a shaker standee?
A shaker standee has a sealed window cut into the acrylic panel, filled with loose glitter, beads, or miniature shapes suspended in clear liquid or air. When you tilt the standee, the filling moves inside the window — creating an interactive, eye-catching display piece. Shaker standees require a multi-layer construction: a front panel, a spacer frame that creates the cavity, and a back panel sealed together. They cost 40–60% more than standard character standees due to the additional components and assembly. MOQ is 100 pieces per design — same as standard standees.
Do you make Vtuber acrylic standees?
Yes. A Vtuber standee is made like any character standee: the talent artwork is UV-printed, usually on both faces, cut to the outline and fitted to a slot-in or shaped base. Shaker windows and layered panels are common premium versions. Each talent or outfit is its own design with a 100-piece minimum, and the artwork is supplied as production-ready files by the talent owner or their designer.
How much do custom acrylic standees cost?
Five factors determine standee pricing: size (50mm mini vs 250mm jumbo), quantity (unit cost drops 30–40% between 100 and 5,000 pieces), printing (double-sided adds 15–20% over single-sided), standee type (standard character standees are most affordable; shaker and LED-lit standees add components and assembly), and base type (simple slot-in base is included; shaped or weighted bases cost more). A 100mm single-sided character standee with standard base at 500 units sits at the lower end. A 200mm double-sided shaker standee with custom base at 100 units sits at the higher end.
Can I order standees with different character designs in one batch?
Yes. Character lineups, Vtuber collections and event-exclusive sets can be produced and shipped on one order. Each character artwork is its own design with its own 100-piece production minimum, so a 12-character set is quoted as 12 designs. Paid samples let you check the lineup before production.
What artwork file format do you need for custom acrylic standees?
Send your artwork as AI (Adobe Illustrator), PDF or SVG with the die-cut outline and the base tab drawn as vector paths — this is the exact shape the laser follows when cutting each standee. High-resolution PSD or PNG files (300 dpi minimum, transparent background) work for the printed image when they come with that vector cut line. For shaker standees, supply the window outline as a separate layer. The production files are supplied by you or your designer; Wetop does not design, redraw or trace artwork. Before awarding the run, use the standee manufacturer verification guide to lock the production owner, sample and retained files.
What is the difference between an acrylic standee and an acrylic keychain?
Both are UV-printed die-cut acrylic, but they serve different purposes. Acrylic standees are designed for desk or shelf display — they stand upright on a slot-in base, typically range from 100mm to 250mm tall, and are meant to be looked at. Acrylic keychains are designed for everyday carry — they have an attachment hole with hardware (ball chain, lobster clasp), typically range from 40mm to 80mm, and are meant to be carried on bags and keys. The printing, material, and coating options are the same for both.
What is a layered acrylic standee?
A layered (multi-layer) standee mounts two to four separately printed and cut acrylic panels on one base, 5–10mm apart: typically a background scene, middle-ground elements and the foreground character. The spacing creates a 3D parallax effect as the viewer moves. Each extra layer adds 30–50% to the unit price.
