Do you guarantee color register across a multi-colorway production run?
Color consistency inside a run is controlled by cutting each colorway from one reserved sheet lot and checking finished tiles against the physical sample you approved. What we do not promise is a 100% exact match to your Pantone reference: colors come from the in-stock cast sheet range, matched as the closest available sheet — the approved sample, not a Pantone number, is the production standard. That is the honest version of color control from sheet stock; a factory promising Pantone-exact from stock is describing a custom casting run.
What does a sample cost, and is the fee separate from production?

What quality assurance and inspection terms do you offer?
100% visual inspection and a color check against your approved physical sample gate every batch before shipment approval, with ISTA 3A drop-test sign-off on the production run and QC photos before the cargo leaves the warehouse. On arrival you have a 7-day inspection window to validate the shipment against the approved master; transit damage or units that fail the approved spec are reviewed with photo evidence and remade. Custom production is not sold with a warranty period — the approved sample, not a time-based guarantee, is the acceptance standard.

Can you hand-paint the color fill, like vintage or heirloom sets?
No — and here is why we made that call. We engrave the pattern shape into the tile first, then UV print the color into the engraved recess. Because the color sits inside the recess rather than on top of the surface, repeated shuffling does not wear it off — and every tile in a 500-set run comes out identical, which hand paint-fill cannot guarantee. Hand-painting is too labor-intensive for consistent production quality at OEM volume, so we do not offer it. If the hand-painted look is the goal, the engrave-plus-UV-fill method reproduces it closely enough that most boutique brands who asked us this question went on to order it.
Do you make melamine, resin, or marble-pattern tiles?
No. We build layered cast acrylic (PMMA) tiles only — that is the material our engraving, UV-fill, and color-register processes are tuned for. We do not produce melamine or resin tiles, and we decline marble-pattern acrylic because the pattern consistency across a production run does not meet our QC standard. If a true melamine construction is a hard requirement, we are likely not the right factory — and we will tell you that on the first email rather than after a sample. Pearlescent and tortoise-shell layered acrylic backs, on the other hand, are available.
How do you protect our brand artwork and IP during the OEM workflow?
By standing practice, not paperwork: your artwork is used only for your production, never published, never reused, never offered to another buyer, and client designs never appear in our marketing. Effective August 25, 2026 we no longer sign NDAs on mahjong projects — the multi-partner production chain (materials, engraving, UV printing, accessories, packaging) makes a single-factory NDA unenforceable, and the manufacturing process is not customer IP.
