Custom acrylic mahjong cases start at 50 pcs per design. Drawstring bags start at 500 pcs per design; other bag constructions need their own specification and quote. Confirm the loaded dimensions before approving the container.
A rack sleeve is not a complete-set bag
Specify the job before choosing a fabric or print. A sleeve sized for one rack is not evidence that four racks and four pushers will fit, and a tile pouch may have no usable length for a full-size rack.
- Rack sleeve: check the packed stack, longest part, opening and closing allowance.
- Tile pouch: confirm tile arrangement, lining, zipper opening and loaded weight.
- Whole-set carry bag: confirm the complete loaded case and accessories, then review handles, seams and closure on a sample.
The price-book reference is a drawstring bag from 500 pcs per design, estimated at USD 2.23 each. Size and printing need confirmation. That estimate does not automatically price a padded zipper bag or tote. Those require a separate specification and quote.
The published bag sample fee is USD 200 for one bag of one design, courier included and not credited to production. Additional copies or designs need a separate quote.
Start with what the case must carry
An acrylic tile case and a whole-set travel bag solve different problems. First list the contents: exact tile count and body size, four racks and pushers if needed, mat folded or rolled, dice and any other items. Then choose which objects share a container.
Internal space must account for liners, dividers and closure travel. Outside dimensions alone cannot show whether a case fits. A sliding lid also needs room to open and a way to stay closed during the intended use.
Pricing and the case sample fee follow the confirmed drawing, material, lining, closure and loading plan. No universal case price applies to every set.
Choose protection for the actual journey
At the table
An acrylic case can keep tiles visible and organized. Confirm its opening direction, dividers and lining against how the owner will unpack and put the tiles away.
Between games
A textile bag keeps components together. Padding, seams and handles must suit the loaded contents; a decorative sleeve alone is not a rigid protective case.
During shipping
A gift case or fabric bag still needs export packing. Confirm the outer carton and internal protection for the loaded goods and route.
We fabricate acrylic components and coordinate textile accessories with specialist partners. Material choice follows the job; we do not claim that acrylic, fabric or metal is always lighter, stronger or better in every construction.
A quote-ready case and bag brief
- Contents: tile count, each tile’s dimensions, accessory sizes and quantity per container.
- Loading plan: tiles flat or on edge; compartments; racks detached or assembled; mat folded or rolled.
- Construction: desired closure, lining, padding, fabric and carrying method. Attach a reference for discussion.
- Artwork: finished print files and desired locations. We manufacture from your artwork; we do not provide a design service.
- Order details: quantities by design, destination and target delivery date. Keep case and bag quantities separate.
A reference photograph helps describe the idea, but it cannot replace loaded dimensions. If you already own the tiles or racks, their measurements and a physical fit check are more useful than an overall product photo.
Inspect the container with everything inside
Approve the loaded sample, not just an empty case or flat bag. Open and close it repeatedly; remove the tiles without forcing them; check divider clearance, contact surfaces and whether pieces shift during normal handling. For bags, inspect the opening, seam finish and handles with the intended load.
Record any carrying or shipping test you require before quoting so the method, configuration and acceptance criteria can be agreed. A rendered image and an empty sample are not a load-test report.
For a smaller launch, order the acrylic case at its own minimum and discuss a different bag route. A 50-set tile order does not waive a 500-piece custom bag minimum.

Questions buyers ask
Can I get 50 custom bags with 50 tile sets?
The published drawstring bag minimum is 500 pcs per design, independent of the tile minimum. Ordering tiles does not reduce that floor. Discuss a different packing route for a smaller launch; do not assume a paid exception.
Is USD 2.23 the price for every carry bag?
No. It is the current drawstring-bag reference estimate at 500 pcs, subject to size and printing confirmation. Padded pouches, zippered bags, totes and different materials need separate quotes.
Will an acrylic case include racks and a mat?
A case price does not include racks or a mat. They are separate supplied items if listed on your quote. The case can accommodate them only if the approved loading plan specifies them; many cases hold tiles only. List every item and its packed dimensions before we confirm the case drawing.
How much is a custom acrylic case sample?
The fee is quoted after the structure and dimensions are confirmed. Do not apply the tile, bag or packaging sample fee to a custom acrylic case automatically.
Can I use an existing bag or case?
Yes. Send usable internal dimensions, opening size and photographs of the closure. We check the proposed components against that container and confirm fit on a physical sample before production.
Can you sign an NDA for my project?
We can review and sign a reasonable NDA. We do not disclose or reuse your artwork. An agreement should distinguish your confidential design from common manufacturing methods; ordinary industry processes cannot become exclusive to one buyer. Send proposed terms for review before sharing restricted files.
