Which acrylic finishes can my tiles have?
The body finish comes from the cast acrylic sheet you choose for each layer. Solid colors come from the stock board or a Pantone-matched sheet; these five finishes are the ones buyers ask for most. Effect-sheet availability is confirmed for your thickness and approved on the sample.

Material
Why choose acrylic mahjong tiles over melamine?
Acrylic mahjong tiles are cut from cast acrylic sheet, so each layer can be its own color, clear or an effect sheet, with a polished edge and your own face artwork. Melamine tiles are molded from an opaque resin, a different manufacturing route. We make cast acrylic tiles only; compare the feel and look of both on physical samples.

Which tile counts and sizes can you make?
Choose 152 playing tiles, or a 160- or 166-tile configuration with replacement blanks packed in the same set. Reference bodies are 30 × 23 × 13, 32 × 23 × 13, 36 × 25 × 15 mm; other sizes are made to your drawing.

Plan the suits, winds, dragons, flowers, jokers and backs as one collection, made to your agreed specification.
- Draw each unique face once
One outlined vector artboard per unique design. Repeated tiles use the same artboard; a 152-tile set does not need 152 drawings.
- Pair artwork with quantities
List the copies of each face and the blank replacements. The approved tile inventory controls production.
- Approve placement, then the sample
The proof confirms the layout. Your physical sample confirms color, finish and handling.

Minimum and timing
What is the minimum order and lead time?
Custom acrylic mahjong tiles start at 50 complete sets per tile-set design. The sample comes first; production starts after you approve it. Transit is planned separately.

How is every tile checked before it ships?
The approved sample and drawing carry your decisions through the production run.
Start with one complete sample set
USD 500 including courier. Paid separately, never credited. Additional sample copies and accessories are quoted separately.

Agree the reference
Keep the approved physical sample and drawing together. Confirm the tile inventory, colors and face process.
- During the run
Check the dimensions
Check sampled tiles against the production drawing, including body dimensions and specified edge and face details.
- Before packing
Inspect every tile
100% visual inspection covers face registration, fill or print coverage, scratches, edge polish and layer joins.
- Before dispatch
Review the packout
Review QC photos and the agreed packing arrangement. Any transit-test protocol is agreed separately.
- Within 7 days of arrival
Check the delivery
Compare the shipment with the approved sample. Send photos of any damage or specification issue for case-by-case review and remedy.
Confirm protection and packout on the packaging page. Quality issues are reviewed against the approved specification; no fixed warranty period is offered.

Every order is made to the agreed set specification. You can supply your own complete face artwork and back design. If you do not have custom face files, ask about our standard classic faces while choosing your tile body and colors. We manufacture from finished files; we do not provide artwork design, tracing or editable templates.
Does choosing more tiles or a different color increase the price?
Tile count, body, layers and face process define the configuration being quoted. Published prices cover the listed configurations at 100–199 sets; they do not establish a single price for all formats. Prices shown are for 100–199 sets; 50–99 sets add USD 2 per set, 200–299 sets save USD 1 per set, 300–499 sets save USD 2 per set, 500 sets save USD 2.50 per set, 501+ sets save USD 3.50 per set. The selected sheet material, color and thickness affect the specification. Custom sheets add preparation time. Non-standard bodies and unlisted counts are quoted per project.
Will the tiles fit my existing racks and case?
Send the finished tile dimensions and the usable dimensions of your rack ledge and case compartments. Tile thickness affects a loaded rack and the packed set. Check your actual accessories with the physical sample before approving production.
Are the face colors and acrylic layer colors the same choice?
They are separate. Sheet codes or custom color targets define the acrylic body, core and back. Printed or filled face colors come from your artwork and approved proof. Approve both on the physical sample; screen colors are not the final reference.
Can several designs share the 50-set minimum?
No. The minimum is 50 complete sets per tile-set design. Distinct artwork collections or colorways are separate production designs and do not share the minimum. The different suits, winds, flowers and jokers within one playing set are its individual faces, not separate 50-set orders.
Can I order blank acrylic tiles?
Yes. Order polished blank American mahjong tile bodies from 50 complete sets per design. The reference order is 160 tiles per set, or 8,000 blank pieces. Confirm the body, layer construction, colors and unmarked faces in your brief.
