Ordering Policies
Six Rules to Read Before You Inquire
These mahjong-specific rules have applied since August 25, 2026. They do not change with order size.
1We do not sign NDAs for mahjong projects
Mahjong production uses several specialized partners, so a single-factory NDA cannot bind the full chain. Your artwork is used only for your production, never published or reused. Register a trademark or design patent in your market when you need enforceable protection.
2Custom packaging and printed matter start at 1,000 sets
Below 1,000 sets, orders use standard protective export packaging. Custom racks, pushers, cases, and mats start at 250 sets. Dice are stock only and are never customized.
3You supply finished artwork
We manufacture from outlined vector AI or PDF files. We do not supply editable templates or provide design, tracing, redraw, or vectorization services. Standard classic faces remain available when you do not have custom artwork.
4Sheet colors come from the in-stock range
Send Pantone or hex targets. We match them to the closest available cast acrylic sheets and you approve the physical sample. A 100% exact sheet-color match is not promised; UV-printed artwork colors follow the approved proof.
5Tile size and layer construction are fully custom
Use one of the three reference bodies or specify your own length, width, height, and layer construction. A physical reference tile can be matched when measurements alone are not enough.
6We quote the quantity you actually plan to order
Give one real target quantity or a narrow range. We do not prepare speculative 50/100/500/1,000 price matrices. The published reference ladder already shows how the unit price moves with volume.
Artwork Gate
Production-Ready Files in 60 Seconds
Samples and production wait until the artwork passes all five checks. We do not repair files on your behalf.
Convert every font to outlines and expand strokes before export.
Name each artboard. A full custom set normally uses about 35 unique faces, not 152 separate drawings.
The Links panel must be empty. Embed every image used in UV-print areas.
Use Pantone or hex labels. Sheet colors are matched to the closest in-stock material and approved on sample.
Common Questions
Answers Buyers Need Before Quoting
Open only the answer you need. The builder remains the fastest path to a complete brief.
152, 160, or 166 tiles: which format should I choose?
Use 152 when the buyer requires the NMJL-exact playing count. The 160-tile format adds replacement tiles and is the usual retail starting point. The 166-tile format adds more spares. Confirm the exact composition before artwork layout.
What is the production MOQ?
Fully custom tiles start at 50 sets per design with standard packaging and stock accessories. Accessory customization starts at 250 sets. Custom packaging and printed matter start at 1,000 sets.
Are the published prices a final quote?
No. The published ladder is an FOB Shenzhen reference for one named standard-spec engraved set. Construction, artwork, accessories, packaging, destination, and freight terms determine the written quote.
How are samples charged?
A single engraved tile is typically $40–80, a 12-tile color check $180–320, and a full-set sample $300–500 including air freight. Sample fees are paid separately and never credited to production.
Do I need to design every tile?
No. A full custom set normally needs about 35 unique face files because repeated tiles reuse the same artwork. Submit one outlined vector artboard per unique face.
Can you hand-paint the engraved color fill?
No. We engrave the artwork and UV-print color into the recess. The physical sample confirms the finished appearance before production.
What happens after I send a complete spec?
We return an itemized quote within 24 hours, prepare a digital proof, build the selected paid sample, and start the 15–20 day production run after sample approval.
What happens to an incomplete inquiry?
Complete eight-item briefs are handled first. Incomplete or generic requests queue behind them and may not receive a reply. Use the builder or numbered checklist on this page before submitting.
