| Riser | 100–300 mm wide | 30–200 mm (tiered) | Up to ~3 kg | Raising products for counter and window visibility | 100 pcs | 15–20 days |
Ranges are indicative and depend on acrylic thickness and structural design — see each format's detail below, or send your product dimensions and weight for an engineered spec.
Explore All Types of Acrylic Stands
Wetop manufactures nine acrylic stand formats on one production line: countertop, floor-standing, wall-mounted, risers, shelves, sign holders, brochure holders, wall sign holders, and non-electrical lighting-ready parts. Production starts at 100 pieces per design. Sample fees are paid separately and never credited; a sample takes 3–5 days and is approved before production. For paper inserts, use the acrylic sign holder size chart to distinguish US letter, A4, and smaller counter formats before fixing the base.
Nine formats, one factory. If you are still weighing acrylic against wire, wood, or cardboard for your program, our retail display stands — material and cost guide covers the wider format decision, while the acrylic versus cardboard POP guide focuses on campaign length, presentation, freight, and end-of-life inputs.

The four core acrylic display formats are countertop, floor-standing, wall-mounted, and lighting-ready non-electrical components. Countertop stands support products or inserts at eye level; floor-standing units use a drawing-approved base and footprint; wall-mounted displays depend on the wall interface and installer review; lighting-ready acrylic parts reserve interfaces for a separate electrical integrator. Each format below is quoted from the product, load, drawing, finish, sample, and packing inputs.

Acrylic (PMMA) is the standard material for retail and commercial display stands. It combines glass-like clarity with half the weight and can be laser-cut, CNC-machined, and thermoformed into custom shapes. For the end-of-life limits behind material claims, see our buyer answer to whether acrylic is recyclable. For staff maintenance, use the approved method in our guide to how to clean acrylic display case surfaces.
| Property | Acrylic (PMMA) | Glass | Wood | Metal |

| Weight | ~50% lighter than glass | Heavy | Heavy | Heavy |
| Impact resistance | 17× stronger than glass | Fragile | Durable | Durable |

Acrylic vs Polycarbonate vs Glass — How Each Fails
The three clear materials buyers compare for displays are acrylic (PMMA), polycarbonate (PC), and glass — and each fails a different way. Polycarbonate is more impact-resistant but scratches easily and yellows under UV within roughly 2–3 years, so branded surfaces cloud and dull. Glass stays clear but is heavy, shatters on impact, and raises freight cost and breakage risk on export orders. Acrylic holds clarity for 5+ years indoors, resists shattering, weighs about 50% less than glass, and CNC-machines cleanly into custom shapes — which is why it's the default for retail and POP displays.
| Property | Acrylic (PMMA) | Polycarbonate (PC) | Glass |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scratch resistance | Good — hard surface | Poor — scratches easily | Excellent |
| UV / yellowing | Stays clear 5+ years indoors | Yellows in ~2–3 years | No yellowing |
| Impact behavior | Resists shattering | Highest impact resistance | Shatters |
| Weight | ~50% lighter than glass | Similar to acrylic | Heavy — raises freight cost |
| Custom shaping | Clean CNC, laser, thermoform | Machinable, gummier to cut | Limited |
| Typical failure mode | Surface scuffing if abused | Scratching + UV yellowing | Breakage in transit or handling |

Get a Material RecommendationWhat Affects Display Stand Pricing?
For a named FOB Shenzhen reference, a 250×180×220mm two-tier countertop stand in 5mm clear acrylic with one-color UV branding and bulk packing is about $28 each at 100 pieces, $16 at 500, and $12 at 1,000. The approved drawing, material, finish, hardware, artwork, packing, destination, and quantity control the written quote.
Size & Thickness
Larger dimensions and thicker acrylic use more material. A 3mm countertop riser costs less than a 10mm floor display of the same size.
Order Quantity
Unit cost drops significantly as quantity increases. 500 units costs less per piece than 100.
Material Type
Clear acrylic is standard pricing. Colored, frosted, mirrored, and anti-static cost more.
Finishing & Branding
UV printing and hot stamping add cost. Diamond polishing is included as standard on every display.
Structural Complexity
Single-piece designs are simpler. Multi-part assemblies, hardware, removable inserts, and moving parts add fabrication and inspection steps.
Packaging & Shipping
Standard bulk packaging is included. Retail-ready packaging, individual boxing, or branded inserts add cost. Shipping method (FOB, CIF, DDP) also affects your landed price.

Why Businesses Choose Wetop for Display Stands
Businesses choose Wetop as their acrylic display stand manufacturer because of responsive communication, sample-to-production consistency, and low 100-piece minimums — backed by ISO 9001 certification and acrylic manufacturing experience since 2008. As an acrylic display manufacturer running its own 5,000 m² Shenzhen factory, we quote, sample, and produce on one line, so the team that answers your engineering questions is the team that signs off the final inspection.

Custom-Built, Not Mass-Produced
No templates or catalog limits. Send a sketch, CAD file, or reference photo; our engineering team reviews the dimensions, shape, branding, material, and fabrication route before quoting.
Crystal-Clear Quality
Diamond polishing can produce a clear edge on suitable straight geometry. The approved material, edge method, and physical sample define the production appearance; curved or internal edges may require another finishing route.
From Prototype to Production in Days
Sample fees are paid separately and never credited; samples normally ship in 3–5 days. Production normally runs 15–20 days after approval. Larger programs use the same approved files and inspection plan.
The linked project cards separate documented work from manufacturing plans. For each new order, the approved drawing, physical sample, inspection record, and packing release become the controlling evidence.
Wetop as an Acrylic Display Manufacturer — Stands, Risers & Retail Programs
Wetop is an acrylic display manufacturer in Shenzhen, China — the factory that cuts, polishes, bonds, prints, and assembles the stands it sells, not a trading company that resells them. Buyers compare acrylic display manufacturers for one practical reason: ordering from the factory that actually fabricates your display stands changes three commercial things — the quote reflects real production cost, the spec is confirmed by the people who will cut and bond it, and quality accountability sits with one party. As a dedicated acrylic display stand manufacturer founded in 2008, we run the full process chain — laser and CNC cutting, diamond polishing, bending, thermoforming, UV and silk-screen printing, and assembly — in one ISO 9001-certified 5,000 m² Shenzhen facility with 65+ workers, shipping to 25+ countries with the US and Europe as our largest markets.
The practical test when you compare acrylic display stand manufacturers: ask whether the company quoting is the company producing. A reseller adds a margin layer, and — more costly in practice — a communication layer, where every spec question, artwork check, and QC photo passes through someone who has never touched the material. Because our fabrication is in-house, engineering questions get answered from the production floor, revisions are priced from actual machine and labor time, and the sample you approve is made on the same line as your bulk order.
One roof also matters for accountability. When cutting, polishing, printing, and assembly happen in separate subcontracted workshops, a defect becomes a debate about whose step caused it. When they happen in sequence in one facility, the factory owns the result end to end — which is why we can commit to 100% inspection against your approved sample rather than spot checks.
Still building your shortlist? Review the display stand manufacturer program for published planning prices, sample controls and evidence-classified projects. Our guide to choosing an acrylic manufacturer covers certificates to verify, the questions that separate a factory from a reseller, and the red flags worth acting on before you commit a PO.

Art, Gallery & Book Display Stands
Acrylic display stands for art hold canvases, framed prints, sculpture, and ceramics without competing with the work — clear PMMA reads as almost invisible under gallery lighting, so the eye goes to the piece rather than to its support. We build three formats for this use: easel-style acrylic picture stands for framed and unframed work on plinths and counters, low-profile risers and pedestal blocks that lift objects off the surface, and slotted book stands for catalogs, monographs, and open-page display. Each is cut to the weight, depth, and balance point of the specific piece it holds, at our standard 100 pieces per design.
Galleries and artists order in two different patterns. A gallery or museum may specify one stand geometry across a hanging or touring show, while an artist, print studio or publisher may pair a stand with a limited edition or catalog. In either case, the buyer or appointed conservator approves the named material, contact surfaces, support geometry and site requirements. Send the dimensions, weight and thickness of the object plus a site photo so those inputs can be recorded on a drawing and checked on a physical sample before production.
Two manufacturing cases show the range. The acrylic gallery frames case study covers color approval for a repeated gallery-frame program. The museum exhibit case planning model shows how object data, glazing criteria, access, transport bases, conservation review and packing inputs can be controlled through drawings and a physical sample. Each new brief receives its own evidence classification, quotation and approval record.
Book display work runs on the same line and follows the same logic. An acrylic book stand is a slotted or easel-cut holder that props a single volume face-out or open at a readable angle — bookstores use them on front tables for featured titles and signed editions, libraries and school media centers for new-arrival shelving and reading-room displays, and gallery and museum shops for exhibition catalogs and monographs sitting next to the work they document. The spec follows the book: cover weight, spine thickness, and whether the pages have to stay open decide the lip depth and the back angle, so send the heaviest title in the run rather than an average one.
These are production orders rather than one-offs. A custom acrylic book display for a bookstore chain or a district library system is one stand geometry repeated across every location, usually with the buyer's logo UV-printed or engraved on the base so the fixture reads as part of the store rather than as generic hardware. We produce them at the same 100 pieces per design as everything else on this page, in clear, frosted, or Pantone-matched cast acrylic, with one approved sample governing the whole run. Fit is what brings most buyers off the catalog: a stock book display stand is sized for a paperback, and an acrylic book stand cut to hold a three-inch monograph open at the title page is a different drawing.

Production in 15–20 daysFrequently Asked Questions
What types of acrylic display stands does Wetop manufacture?
We manufacture countertop, floor-standing, wall-mounted, tiered, rotating, shelf, and sign-holder displays. We can also fabricate non-electrical acrylic panels or bases with a drawing-defined interface reserved for a buyer's lighting integrator. Wetop does not supply LED light boxes, drivers, wiring, or electrical installation. Standard production starts at 100 pieces per design; sample fees are paid separately and never credited.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom acrylic display stands?
Our standard production MOQ for acrylic display stands is 100 pieces per design. A paid sample is available first, so you can approve product fit, structure, finish, and branding before production.
How long does it take to produce custom acrylic display stands?
Sample production takes 3–5 days. Once you approve the sample, bulk production runs 15–20 days depending on complexity and quantity. We ship FOB Shenzhen, with CIF and DDP options available.
Can you prepare acrylic parts for a display that uses lighting?
We can fabricate non-electrical acrylic panels, shelves, covers, or bases with drawing-defined openings and service clearances for your lighting integrator. The buyer's electrical supplier remains responsible for LEDs, drivers, wiring, heat management, certification, and installation. Wetop does not quote LED light boxes or electrical integration.
What finishes are available for acrylic display stands?
We offer diamond polishing (crystal-clear edges), flame polishing, frosted finishes, silk-screen printing, UV full-color printing, laser engraving, and hot stamping. Multiple finishes can be combined on a single piece; for branded enclosure panels, the acrylic box printing methods guide compares UV, screen, engraving, and foil routes against the artwork and sample.
How much do custom acrylic display stands cost?
For a named planning reference, a 250×180×220mm two-tier countertop stand in 5mm clear acrylic with one-color UV branding and bulk packing is about $28 each at 100 pieces, $16 at 500, and $12 at 1,000, FOB Shenzhen. Final price follows the approved drawing, material, finish, hardware, artwork, packing, and destination. The riser size and spacing guide helps fix the footprint and lift before quoting.
Can I see a drawing or 3D preview before you build the sample?
Absolutely. For any display stand project, our engineering team creates a production drawing or 3D rendering during the quoting stage — before we cut any acrylic. You get to approve the design direction, confirm dimensions, and spot any fit issues before sample production. This prevents costly errors and keeps both sides aligned. The full gate-by-gate path is in our custom display stands — design to production guide, or send your specs through our contact form.
How do I know if my display stand will fit my products?
Specify the product dimensions, weight, and how many pieces you'll display. For fit-critical displays (product wells, shelving depth, weight capacity), we recommend ordering a sample first — you can test fit your actual products before committing to bulk production. A sample takes 3–5 days and typically costs $30–$100; the fee is paid separately and is not credited to production. Most fit surprises surface at sample stage, not production.
Can you color-match my brand Pantone or sample material before production?
Yes. Send your Pantone code or a physical color chip with your inquiry. We source tinted acrylic sheets or test printing methods on a sample so you approve the exact match before bulk production. Pantone-matched colors sometimes have slightly longer lead times (confirm in quote). Color variations due to printing setup are documented in your sample approval, and bulk production matches the approved sample within SGS tolerance.
Can you make the magnets on the back of a display smaller or less visible?
Yes — magnet size, count, and placement are all customizable to your spec. There's a tradeoff to know: surface-mounted magnets sit on top of the acrylic and cost less, but their footprint can show through or take up visible area; embedded (recessed) neodymium magnets — commonly N42 to N52 grade — are countersunk flush into the acrylic so the back stays clean and the magnet nearly disappears, at a small tooling cost. Smaller-diameter magnets are less visible but hold lighter loads, so we match magnet grade and size to your panel thickness and the weight it needs to hold, then confirm the hold strength on your sample before bulk. Our magnetic-mount and anti-theft display guide breaks down every mounting method and the footprint tradeoffs. Tell us how the display mounts and what it needs to hold through our contact form and we'll spec the magnets to match.
Can I get a PDF proof or drawing to show my own customer before production?
Yes. Before we cut any acrylic or commit tooling, our engineering team produces a PDF proof — a 3D render, a dimensioned production drawing, or a dieline for print placement — that you can forward to your own end customer for sign-off. This is built for white-label and reseller workflows: your customer approves the artwork and dimensions under your brand, you approve to us, and only then does production start. The reseller proof approval guide shows how to name the controlling version and record the release. It keeps everyone aligned and prevents costly revisions after the mold is made.
Is the MOQ per design, and can I split it across multiple designs or sizes?
Our production MOQ is 100 pieces per design, meaning each unique artwork, shape, and size combination. Each variation needs its own cut path, print setup, or tooling, so three separate designs do not combine into one 100-piece run. A paid pre-production sample is separate from the MOQ. Send the full SKU list and planned quantities, and we will show where designs can share material, hardware, or packaging.
Can you ship acrylic display stands by air for an urgent deadline?
Yes. Air freight works for full orders or as a split shipment — the urgent portion flies while the balance follows by sea, which is often the best cost compromise for store-opening and event deadlines. Air quotes differ by service level (airport-to-airport vs door delivery, and whether your forwarder collects), so tell us your deadline and destination and we'll quote air, sea, and split options side by side.
Do I pay a deposit or the full amount before production starts?
Standard terms are a 30% deposit before production and the 70% balance before shipment, payable by T/T, PayPal, or Western Union. Production starts once the deposit clears and your sample or artwork is approved. If your accounting process prefers a single payment — common before holiday closures or fiscal year-end — full prepayment works too; just tell us when you confirm the order.
What if my order is too small for custom-tinted acrylic in my exact brand color?
Custom-tinting raw acrylic sheet to an exact HEX or Pantone value carries mill minimums — typically 500+ pieces per color. Below that, there are two honest paths: the closest stock acrylic color (we send chips so you approve the match before production) or a surface-printed or film color match, which hits the exact value on the visible faces. Your quote states which method it uses, so there are no surprises at sample stage. Our Pantone color matching guide explains how each method behaves on different display types.
What should I check on the pre-shipment sample before approving bulk production?
Check four things: physical fit of your actual product in every well, slot, and shelf; material feel and thickness against the spec; edge finish under direct light; and print or logo placement against your artwork. Photos can't confirm clearance or feel, so for fit-critical displays we recommend approving the physical sample — bulk production is then matched to it under 100% inspection. Our physical sample vs 3D render guide covers when a render is enough and when it isn't.
Do multi-part display stands come with assembly instructions?
Yes. Flat-packed displays ship with labeled parts and a step-by-step assembly diagram, and for builds with posts, spacers, or hardware we can add an assembly video link. If anything doesn't fit the way you expect at sample stage, send photos or a short video and we correct the part or the instructions before bulk production.
Can you quote from photos and dimensions if I don't have CAD drawings?
Yes — most projects start exactly that way. Send reference photos, the dimensions and weight of the product being displayed, your target quantity, and any deadline; we turn that into a quote and a dimensioned production drawing for your approval before anything is cut. Our acrylic RFQ guide lists everything worth including in a first message to get the fastest accurate quote.
Are you an acrylic display manufacturer or a trading company?
We are an acrylic display manufacturer. Wetop has manufactured in Shenzhen since 2008 — today a 5,000 m² factory — ISO 9001 certified, 65+ workers — and the full process chain happens in-house: laser and CNC cutting, diamond polishing, bending and thermoforming, UV and silk-screen printing, and assembly. Nothing is passed to a workshop we don't control, so engineering questions get answered from the production floor, and every piece is 100% inspected against your approved sample before it ships. If you want to verify that for yourself, ask any supplier for the ISO 9001 certificate number and for photos or video of your own order on the line — a factory can produce both, a reseller usually can't.
What does it cost to buy acrylic displays factory-direct?
Use one named specification when comparing factory-direct prices. A 250×180×220mm two-tier countertop stand in 5mm clear acrylic with one-color UV branding and bulk packing is about $28 each at 100 pieces, $16 at 500, and $12 at 1,000, FOB Shenzhen. Different dimensions, structures, materials, hardware, artwork, packing, and destinations require a new written quote; send the complete specification and we respond within 24 hours.
Is your price FOB or landed — can you quote DDP to my door?
Our default quote is FOB Shenzhen, which covers production, export packing, and delivery to the port. CIF and DDP are both available: tell us the destination city or postal code and the incoterm you want, and we'll quote door delivery alongside the FOB figure so you can compare true landed cost instead of estimating freight yourself. Duties and import taxes depend on your country's tariff classification — a DDP quote includes them, while FOB and CIF leave them with your own customs broker. Payment terms are the same either way: 30% deposit before production and the 70% balance before shipment, by T/T, PayPal, or Western Union.
What should I compare between acrylic display stand manufacturers?
Compare who controls the approved drawing, sample, cutting, polishing, printing, assembly, and final inspection. Ask each manufacturer to state the 100-piece per-design MOQ, sample fee and timing, 15–20-day production window, payment terms, and whether the quote is FOB or delivered.
Can acrylic display stands be packed by store or rollout wave?
Yes. Provide the store list, SKU allocation, carton marks, assembly-kit rules, and rollout sequence before packing approval. The pack-out sample confirms part protection, labels, instructions, and unit counts so cartons can move to each location without central repacking.
Can an acrylic display stand factory build several store formats in one program?
Yes. Countertop, floor, wall, shelf, and sign-holder formats can share material, color, branding, and packing standards, but each unique size, structure, or artwork normally keeps its own 100-piece production MOQ. List every SKU so shared inputs can be priced together without hiding the per-design floor.
Which files are retained for an acrylic display stand reorder?
The approved drawing, cut path, artwork revision, material specification, color target, print setup, packing map, and physical sample remain the repeat-order reference. A reorder still receives material and print checks; any geometry or artwork change becomes a named revision before production.
Can custom acrylic display stands ship flat-packed?
Yes, when the approved structure supports tabs, fasteners, posts, or another repeatable assembly method. Flat packing can reduce carton volume, but the sample must confirm assembly time, stiffness, part labeling, and instructions before the same pack-out is used across the run.
How do you protect confidential retail display artwork?
Project files are limited to the quoting, engineering, and production teams handling the order, and an NDA can be signed before detailed files are shared. Mark confidential layers and identify who may approve revisions so the production drawing and print file have one controlled sign-off path. The artwork file-readiness guide covers fonts, layers, dielines, and the checks needed before a file becomes a production input.
